A Decor Chandeliers
This is the story of a silk lamp called Viscontea. Designed by the brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1960, the Viscontea chandelier boasts a distinctive appearance with a cocoon – shaped structure. From a distance, it looks like a huge seed pod wrapped in a cocoon and as light as a cloud. Its internal steel structure is coated with white powder, followed by a layer of unique “cocoon” resin that forms the diffusing layer of the lampshade, and finally sealed with a transparent protective spray on the surface. This “cocoon” resin material looks as if it is wound by silk threads or pasted with thin washi paper, but in fact, it is extremely strong and flexible, almost impossible to tear, non – flammable, and requires little to no maintenance.

About Its Functions
A silk chandelier can serve as the finishing touch in Nordic-style interior decor. Renowned for its simplicity, brightness and airiness, the Nordic style is perfectly complemented by the soft light and natural silk texture of the chandelier, which adds a touch of warmth and elegance to the space.

A great lamp outshines cumbersome soft furnishings. In the eyes of master designers, a great lamp does not merely deliver an excellent lighting experience; it should also be a work of art that provides emotional value to people.
